End-to-end support
We act as an extension of your co-op recruiting team
Recruiting, hiring and employing a co-op student requires an investment of time and effort by employers. At U of T Co-op our goal is to ease the load by providing employers with comprehensive support through the entire co-op experience.
The four ways we provide you with support:
1. Student preparation: U of T Co-op students arrive for their work term with strong academic knowledge and understanding, and a deep skill set that’s necessary for on-the-job success.

2. Designated point of contact: As soon as you contact U of T to initiate the recruitment of a co-op student, you are paired with an employer relations officer. They are your main point of contact, while a team of experts helps you navigate through every phase of the hiring process to support success.

3. Explore your options together: We discuss your hiring needs, work term lengths, start dates and opportunities for potential wage subsidy funding.

4. Ongoing work term check-ins: U of T continues to provide support to our co-op students and collaborate with our co-op employers throughout the duration of the work term.
